OUR STORY
W Coombes & Sons (Contractors) Ltd is a family run Main Building Contractor based in Ilminster, Somerset.
We are proud to have been established for over 153 years. Founded in 1871 by
Walter J Coombes we are currently under the Managing Directorship of Tim Coombes a fourth-generation family member who is assisted by his wife Sue and his two sons Adam and Thomas Coombes, fifth generation family members.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship and are proud members of the Federation of Master Builders, TrustMark and NHBC.
Our business success is due to the collaborative and personalised approach we offer our clients. We have seen our reputation grow, which has led to many projects coming from recommendations and returning customers.
Over many years in business we have developed strong working relationships with many respected Architects, specialist Suppliers and Sub-contractors. We are able to provide a full range of construction Services across Somerset, Devon, Dorset and Avon.
