New Build Industrial Barn Style Home

Working in very close collaboration with our client this unique new build home was constructed to blend in with the existing farm buildings. The clients vision was to create not only a home, but a usable barn that seamlessly sat within his existing farm and its various buildings. 

The design incorporated heavy industrial beams to mimic the surround farm barns, and exterior included  extensive glazed windows and wooden cladding to soften the harsh agricultural look. Internally the home featured a beautiful hand crafted oak mezzanine floor with library, a large open plan kitchen and dining area.  The bedrooms and bathrooms all featured tall windows to take in the stunning elevated views across Somerset.
